  • Fairmont Room- $249.00 per night, plus tax

How to Book:

You will be asked to make your room request online when you register for the APIC Conference. Your room will be reserved for you by the APIC conference planner. DO NOT CALL THE HOTEL DIRECTLY.

All guest rooms at Fairmont are non-smoking.

     Check-In: 3:00 PM
     Check-Out: 11:00 AM

TRAVEL AND EXPENSES

All travel expenses related to the APIC Conference (hotel, taxi, parking, etc.) are the responsibility of the individual attendee.

Suggested flight arrival date/time is Monday, June 11th by 1:00 PM. The Conference will begin at 2:30 PM.

Airports:

  • Austin Bergstrom International Airport – 9 miles (15 minute drive)

Ground Transportation:

Taxi service from Austin Bergstrom International Airport to the Fairmont is approximately approximately $35.00.

Car service can be booked by calling the hotel's Concierge at 512-524-4620. Sedans start at $85.00; SUVs start at $130.00.

APIC will provide motor coach service back to the airport on Wednesday, June 13th. 

Hotel Parking:

  • VALET - $45.00/ >6 hours / overnight
  • VALET - $32.00/ 3-6 hours
  • SELF PARKING - $32.00/ >6 hours / overnight
  • SELF PARKING - $23.00/ 3-6 hours

Registration will open on Monday, March 19, 2018. When registration opens, APIC members can register here. All other registrants please e-mail your APIC Contact.

The registration fees for 2018 are as follows:

The fee includes the following:

  • Attendance at all APIC educational sessions
  • Attendance at all APIC meal functions as listed in the agenda

The fee does NOT include:

  • Hotel room costs
  • Travel costs
Payment - You will need to provide a credit card on the secure Conference Registration website.

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT

Some members may be eligible for tuition reimbursement. Members should log in to the APIC website to see this information.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The deadline for canceling your attendance without penalty is Monday, June 4th. After this date, the following penalties will apply:

  • REGISTRATION FEE: 100%
  • GUEST ROOM AT FAIRMONT: One night room & tax charges. APIC will be held financially responsible for your guest room, and therefore, must pass the cancellation charges on to you.


CHILD CARE

The ability for APIC members to get away and collaborate with each other can sometimes interfere with family life balance. Your commitment and your presence are important to us. 

While our official events are still for members only, if you require child care help on site in Austin, the Fairmont Austin can assist you with finding a caregiver to help with your needs. There is a 4-hour minimum service at $30/hour and 24 hour notice is required to secure a reservation. Please contact the hotel’s Concierge at 512-524-4620 or via email at aus.concierge@fairmont.com .
