APIC is proud to announce this first-ever intensive opportunity.

Bring your entire team to maximize your learning experience. Dive into one of three different Salesforce practice areas; Adding Efficiency in to your Practice, Pipeline Management to help stimulate growth, Data Insights into your Practice using Reports and Dashboards. Each Business Focus Area is divided into three 45-minute learning sessions (Foundations, Growth, and Advanced). Upon registering for a particular Business Focus Area, you are committing to all three sessions. All registrants must bring your laptop to follow along and get the most out of the sessions.

Adding Efficiency to your Practice

Ensuring your team has a repeatable and consistent process is key to success and efficiency in your practice. Authentic adoption to the formatted productivity of you and your team are paramount. These sessions will dive into how to engage the Salesforce CRM system to engage into newly adoptable processes.

  • Foundations Session: Learn how to use foundational views and customizable within Lists and Profiles inside Salesforce for optimum usage.

  • Growth Session: Develop Strategic client engagement by creating automated processes and consistent client service, call cycles and recurring tasks that will streamline the day to day. 

  • Advanced session: Grow your practice with use of Reports and Dashboards to allow you to draw key insights of your clients and prospects, thus allowing more informed decisions on implementation.

Pipeline Management to help stimulate growth

These sessions will introduce how to leverage Salesforce Opportunities to manage your sales pipeline, replacing the traditional spreadsheet or post-it-note style pipeline management, elevating visibility and allowing you to better track and report on your progress.

  • Foundations Session – Learn how to create Opportunities for Clients and Prospects effectively, using that information to keep you organized

  • Growth Session - Moving Opportunities through their stages, from discovery to closure, allowing you to track related Interactions and monitor your progress across your book

  • Advanced Session – Explore Standard Dashboards for Opportunity Reporting, use all the information in the existing Opportunities to analyze and segment your pipeline at a high-level, with the ability to drill down into specific data sets.

Data Insights into your Practice using Reports and Dashboards

Unlock the power of data driven insights in your practice! This hands-on training will help you take control of Salesforce by turning everyday tasks, notes, and opportunities into dynamic dashboards that drive your day to day decisions.

  • Growth Session: Learn how to create custom reports with custom fields, filters and utilizing simple charts to uncover trends.

Group Rate (paid by attendee):

$355.00 per night, plus tax (currently 13%) if booked by Friday, May 9, 2025. APIC cannot guarantee the rate after this date. Group rate is only available on conference nights, any additional nights will be subject to the hotel's rate at the time of booking.
 

HOW TO BOOK:
APIC is holding a block of rooms for the Conference. Instructions for booking your room in the APIC block will be provided during Registration.

Early check-in requests are not guaranteed and are based on availability the day of arrival. Late check-out requests are handled similarly.


All guest rooms are non-smoking.

GUESTS & SPOUSES

•    Due to compliance reasons, guests may not attend any content sessions - this includes all breakouts and general sessions.
•    Social Guests will be permitted on a first-come, first-serve basis and may only attend designated functions. All guests are subject to approval by APIC before attendance is granted. APIC does not guarantee guest space is available if not registered in advance of the event, before the registration cut-off date.
•    Social Guests may not be employed by an asset management firm or service provider. Additionally, Social Guests may not be employed by other financial institutions other than Morgan Stanley.
•    Social Guests must be over the age of 21.
•    APIC extends a discount to members who attend the annual conference below the actual cost of food & services provided. Guests who attend events are expected to pay for the actual costs associated with their attendance. The cost for guests in 2025 is $350.
•    You will be given the option to register a guest during the Conference Registration process. If you would like to register a guest after your Registration is complete, please e-mail elyse@apicms.org

OPTIONAL GOLF

APIC will be hosting a 9-hole shotgun-start round of golf at The Breakers' legendary Ocean Course on Wednesday, June 11 at 9:00AM.

Golf is $287.50 including tax. Should you require clubs or shoes, they are available from the pro shop for $115 and $30 plus tax, respectively.

This is a limited opportunity, and requires a minimum of 27 players and may not exceed 36 players. APIC will determine if the minimum has been met on or before April 25th. Should the minimum not be met, the event will be cancelled and your fees refunded. After the cutoff date of April 25th, fees are not refundable and may not be canceled.

Participants will be contacted at the cutoff date to reserve clubs and/or shoes.

TRAVEL

Suggested arrival time is a flight that lands no later than 12:30PM on Wednesday, June 11.
 

AIRPORT:

The closest airport is Palm Beach International Airport (PBI)

is 6 miles and about a 20-minute drive to The Breakers. Fort Lauderdale Airport is 52 miles and about a 65-minute drive.

The Breakers DOES NOT have an airport shuttle, so please review the following transportation options:
 

RIDESHARE:

Lyft and Uber are available in Palm Beach and services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

RENTAL CAR:

If you prefer to rent a vehicle, PBI supports most national rental car companies.

PARKING:

The Breakers provides complimentary overnight parking.

RETURN BUSSES:

APIC will provide several complementary buses to Palm Beach International at the conclusion of the conference. These buses are first-come-first served. APIC will provide a single bus departing for Fort Lauderdale International at noon on Friday. You must pre-register for this bus (look for an e-mail at a later date). The return trip will take approximately 75 minutes, so you should not book a flight departing before 3pm if using this option.

EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT AFG/BDA 
& TUITION REIMBURSEMENT

All travel expenses related to the APIC Conference (hotel, taxi, parking, etc.) are the responsibility of the individual attendee.

Some members may be eligible for tuition reimbursement. Management pre-approval is required.

If you wish to receive reimbursement for your hotel costs, you may need to submit an eReq in advance. This applies even though you are not booking the hotel through the MS travel agency. For more information, type ENC into your firm browser. We also have a page with basic information on how to complete the form, available here.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Payment – You will need to provide a credit card on the secure Conference Registration website. In addition, all attendees will be required to present a credit card upon check-in at the hotel for payment of the room and any incidentals.


The deadline for attendees to cancel from the conference without penalty is 2:00 PM EDT on Monday, June 2nd. After this date, the following penalties will apply:
•    CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE: 100%

•    GUEST ROOM CHARGES

APIC Reserves the right to deduct late cancellation charges from registration fees before any refund is made.

ATTIRE

Business Casual attire (no tie required!) will be appropriate during the evening festivities on Tuesday night and Conference on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.


Temperatures in Palm Beach will be hot and humid, with highs of around 92 F. The rainy season begins to kick-in in June as well. Indoor meeting rooms can be quite chilly with air conditioning, so please plan accordingly.
